Mosquito Control
During the late Spring and Summer months the Fort Oglethorpe Public Works Department runs a mosquito spray truck on a weekly basis. This is to reduce levels of pestiferous and disease capable mosquitoes in an effort to protect human health, improve quality of life, and minimize any associated adverse impacts to the local economy (agriculture, tourism, etc). More information can be found here.
