It is the Mission of the City Clerk’s Office to provide accessibility to information for all persons, create and protect the transparency of government and provide an impartial, independent and accurate voice regarding the business of government.
The City Clerk is accountable to the Mayor and Council as a representative of the legislative branch of the government. The City Clerk’s Office serves as a liaison and bridges the gap between the city council, city staff, and the public. It is the Mission of the City Clerk’s Office to establish trust and confidence in city government and to provide effective public service for all citizens.
