City Clerk

It is the Mission of the City Clerk’s Office to provide accessibility to information for all persons, create and protect the transparency of government and provide an impartial, independent and accurate voice regarding the business of government.
The City Clerk is accountable to the Mayor and Council as a representative of the legislative branch of the government. The City Clerk’s Office serves as a liaison and bridges the gap between the city council, city staff, and the public. It is the Mission of the City Clerk’s Office to establish trust and confidence in city government and to provide effective public service for all citizens.

Submit an Open Records Request

Pursuant to O.C.G.A. 50-18-70 et seq, I am formally requesting to inspect certain public records. In particular, records requested for inspection are:

I agree to pay any copying and/or administrative costs incurred in fulfilling my request to the extent permitted by Georgia law. Such costs may include copying charges of $0.10 per page and administrative charges for search, retrieval, and other direct administrative costs, such administrative charges not to exceed the salary of the lowest paid full-time employee who, in the discretion of the custodian of the records, has the necessary skill and training to perform the request.
