Governor Kemp Issues Shelter in Place Order

On Thursday, April 2nd, Governor Brian P. Kemp issued a shelter in place order for the state of Georgia. The order will be effective begining Friday, April 3rd, at 6:00 PM and expire Monday, April 13th, at 11:59 PM.

NOTE: During the time of the Governor’s shelter in place order, the Mayor’s Second Emergency Declaration (Resolution No. 2020-5) will be susended.  Once the Governor’s shelter in place order expires on April 13th, the Mayor’s Second Emergency Declaration will immediately be back in effect until April 30th.
